About Dawn Koeltzow
Dawn Koeltzow is a passionate leader and advocate for best practices in experiential education. She currently serves as president of the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA), which has 700 members in North America. She also served as president for professional associations at the regional and state level. Dawn has 20 years of experience in higher education and non-profit management. She was director of the centralized co-op and internship program at Bradley University, where she administered quality cooperative education, delivered innovative student programs, and cultivated employer relationships. In her current role at Illinois Central College, Dawn leads a consortium of 15 schools participating on the Workforce Equity Initiative, a statewide grant to remove barriers to training and education. She also serves on a lead committee for Peoria’s regional essential skills certification program, which helps students and young professionals develop their soft skills for the workplace.
