About Mason Murphy
Mason is a career development professional with fifteen years of experience in career services and international affairs. Mason’s current academic appointment is as a Career Counselor for PACE/Career Services at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Mason is also the Chair of the Leadership Academy Development Committee and is the field editor for Career Convergence, a web magazine for the National Career Development Association (NCDA). In addition to his work with the web magazine, Mason works with the International Student Services Committee for NCDA. Mason has additional experience in event planning and political campaign fundraising and organizing. He enjoys helping students from freshmen to seniors, and also international and graduate students, find their passion and assist them in their journey of discovering a major or finding a position that brings them happiness in their career path.
